2014 predictions

How will the AL East look at the end of 2014? Here are my predictions.

Don't trade David Price

It's been widely accepted that the Rays will trade David Price. I don't think they should. Here's why.

Rays acquire Ryan Hanigan and Heath Bell

Rays acquire two big names in a three team trade involving the Reds and D-Backs, but what did they give up in return?

Sunday night the baseball world was rocked when the Rays and Royals agreed to a trade that sends pitchers James Shields, Wade Davis and a player to be named later to Kansas City in exchange for outfielder Wil Myers, right-hander Jake Odorizzi, left-hander Mike Montgomery and third baseman Patrick Leonard.

I'm just shocked. Still trying to manage to pull my jaw off the floor. I like the deal, I think the Rays ultimately come out on top in this deal if Myers lives up to his potential, but I'm sad to see James and Wade leave. Good luck in KC, boys. Don't forget where you started. Also, a warm welcome to Wil, Jake, Mike and Patrick.
