Today has been a hell of a day on a personal level, the details of which I'd rather keep private. But now we add to it that there are reports that Manny Ramirez wants reinstatement and will serve the 100-game suspension.
I don't think I'm alone in saying "
YOU, MANNY!" This guy, a little over four and a half months ago retired to avoid the suspension and now when the Rays could really be using his bat he wants reinstatement.If he had just served the suspension we'd probably be beating Boston by now and they'd be chasing us. Who knows? All I know is as a Rays fan, his timing is horrible and is only surpassed by his selfishness.
